started their season on Sat. Dec.8 against Carolina
Academy. The Hornets started the game off with a blazing
8-0 run but Carolina found an answer in the end. Final
score 24-18, Carolina. Zachary Dixon contributed
2pts, George Atkins added 6pts and Patrick Mulligan led

Recap - Plagued with injuries, illness and foul
trouble, the THA boys basketball team dropped their
second game of the season to the Hartsville YMCA. Final
score 44-29, YMCA. The Hornets were led by George Atkins
with a game and career high 19pts. CONGRATULATIONS to
the Mr. Lee and the 5th grade class, winners of the

Recap - The Hornets captured their first victory
of the season. The game was and exciting "nail biter".
The Hornets trailed Kings Academy in the beginning of
the 4th Quarter. However, they received a final scoring
boost to victory from 8th Grader Jeremy Dixon with 4
back to back unanswered points. Final score 29-28,

Recap - The Thomas Hart Academy Middle School
Boys basketball team pulled off a very exciting and
impressive victory as they took on Byrnes. The Hornets
maintained control for most of the game. However, Byrnes
made a surge late in the 4th quarter. Unfortunately for
Byrnes, the Hornets remained cool under pressure and
held on for the 23-24 victory with 6 out of 8
