Admission to Thomas Hart Academy

Thomas Hart Academy is a little school with a big heart and it’s a great place to be!

Welcome to Thomas Hart Academy! We offer students the opportunity to learn, create, experience, and gain confidence by meeting the challenges of a strong academic program and participating in numerous co-curricular activities. THA views students as individuals with diverse talents, interests, and personalities. As such, we understand the necessity of using a variety of educational approaches and strategies.

Enrollment Process

Open enrollment begins Monday, February 4th.  Returning Students should turn in all forms before this date to ensure that you have a spot for next year.

To initiate the enrollment process, please provide the following:

  • Completed Application for Admission
  • Application Fee of $100
  • Copies of the Applicant's Birth Certificate, Immunization Record, and Social Security Number
  • Signed Transcript Request Form
  • Enrollment Contract (to be completed upon acceptance)

*Finance charges of 5% and 10% are added to semi-annual and monthly payment plans respectively.
The cost of lunch, class trips, yearbook, and the After School Program are not included in the tuition and will be assessed separately.
Returning Students

Tuition Deposit: A $200 tuition deposit is required to reserve a space in a class. This amount is payable in two installments: $100 is due at time of reenrollment and $100 is due June 1. The deposit is deducted from the annual tuition charge. The payment options shown above are the balances after the deposit has been deducted.

New Students

Application: $100 (due with application, non-refundable)
Tuition Deposit: $200 (due at time of acceptance)

All Students

Tuition Refund Plan: 2.6% of tuition and fees required of semi-annual and monthly payment plans, optional for full payment plan K3 = $132, K4 = $136, K5 = $138, 1st = $154, 2nd/3rd = $169, 4th-8th = $171 (one -time fee paid in July).

Penalty Charges: Returned Check Fee: $25
Late Fee: $20 (assessed to any account unpaid as of the 10th of the month)

Miscellaneous Matters

Enrollment may be cancelled in writing without penalty (except forfeiture of the tuition deposit) prior to August 1.

Credit cards are accepted for the payment of tuition and fees with an additional 4% added.
